Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Subbi ("the App"), developed by Spera Studio ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App.

Your Subscription Data Stays on Your Device

Subbi is built to keep your personal records private. The subscriptions, prices, billing dates, categories, notes, and profile picture you enter are stored locally on your device. Subbi has no account system, and this data is never uploaded to our servers. It is included in your device's standard backups (for example, iCloud or Finder backups) only if you have those enabled — and those backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by Subbi.

Information We Collect

To operate and improve the App, we collect a limited amount of non-personal, anonymous information through trusted third-party services:

  • Usage analytics: Anonymous data about how the App is used (for example, which features are opened and session length) to help us understand and improve the experience.
  • Crash reports: Technical information about app crashes — such as device model, operating system version, and app version — to help us identify and fix bugs.
  • Subscription status: When you make a purchase, we receive your anonymized purchase and entitlement status (whether you have an active subscription) to unlock premium features.

This information is not used to identify you personally, and we do not collect your name, email address, or the content of the subscriptions you track.

Profile Picture & Photos

If you choose to set a profile picture, the image is selected from your photo library and stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or any third party.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Subbi schedules local reminders on your device to alert you before a subscription renews. These reminders are generated and delivered entirely on your device. We do not operate a push notification server and do not receive a device token.

Import & Export

Subbi lets you export your data to a file and import it back. When you export, the file is created on your device and shared only to the destination you choose (for example, Files, AirDrop, or another app). When you import, the file you select is read locally. Subbi does not send these files to us.

In-App Purchases

Subbi offers optional premium features through in-app purchases ("Subbi Pro"). All purchases and payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements; RevenueCat processes transaction data through Apple's App Store.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Analytics (Google) — Collects anonymous usage statistics to help us understand how the App is used. Firebase Privacy Policy

How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Operate and maintain the App
  • Improve features and the user experience
  • Identify and fix bugs and crashes
  • Manage subscriptions and unlock premium features

Data Retention

The subscription data you enter remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App. Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained and anonymized according to our third-party providers' retention policies. Subscription status is retained by RevenueCat for as long as needed to manage your entitlements.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Delete any subscription data directly within the App, and remove all local data by deleting the App
  • Request access to or deletion of any information held about you by our third-party providers
  • Opt out of analytics collection — contact us for assistance

Children's Privacy

Subbi is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
